The Supply Chain Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Supply Chain team, ensuring the efficient flow of information, materials, and documentation across the procurement, warehouse, and customer service functions.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers and customers.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to customer and supplier mailbox enquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries by liaising with suppliers, finance, and internal stakeholders.
- Expedite outstanding purchase orders by monitoring open orders, following up with suppliers, and updating delivery schedules.
- Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure goods are receipted accurately and promptly within the ERP system.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain supply chain system information.
- Prepare, process, and maintain delivery paperwork, including proof of delivery, goods receipt documentation, and shipping records.
- Document and maintain supply chain processes, procedures, and work instructions to support continuous improvement and compliance.
- Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, reporting, document management, and maintaining accurate records.
