Purpose: Following resignation of the current storekeeper, there is now a permanent vacancy available for dedicated storeman at the SPENW Stockport depot Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting customer satisfaction and be the interface between SPENW staff and TVS Specific daily tasks in line with good depot stock management process Regulatory stock counts, reporting and management of stock profile within the depot stores Following of safe methods of working in line with risk assessments and safe systems of work Ensuring that the storage media is issued in line with process controls and that the depot stores are managed in such a way as to maximize security and stock control Responsible for maintaining good standards of 5,s and housekeeping at the stores Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Must have current clean driving licence Hold MHE counterbalance licence as a minimum requirement Knowledge of warehousing/stock management systems
- Demonstrate good numeracy and literary skills Good attendance Broad knowledge of warehouse activities and systems Specific system and job training will be part of the successful applicant's induction program.
