  • Job Responsibilities
  • Manage vendor inbound delivery scheduling to ensure timely and efficient receipt of goods.
  • Responsible for supplier consignment conformance, ensuring adherence to agreed delivery and presentation standards.
  • Implement and manage Supplier Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs), driving compliance with established processes.
  • Lead supplier performance meetings, both onsite and offsite, to review service levels, address issues, and improve inbound delivery performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier relationships, commitments, actions, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in supplier audits, improvement workshops, and operational reviews in collaboration with the Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) team.
  • Operational Management
  • Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to develop and implement effective supplier delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliant consignment presentation to support efficient inbound receipt and put-away activities.
  • Drive improvements in inbound processing, reducing receipt and storage delays while supporting reduction of total cost of ownership.
  • Manage inbound delivery issues and implement timely resolutions to minimise operational disruption.
  • Authorise inventory count-down and stock adjustment activities relating to inbound receipt quantity discrepancies following supplier investigations.
  • Monitor and report on inbound consignment conformance and operational performance through the use of agreed metrics and KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the key liaison between Supply Chain, Operations, and Supplier to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Working closely with SRM Management Lead and Supply Chain Co- Ordinator’s to increase overall supplier performance and provide strategic input and attendance at supplier performance review meetings.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service excellence and delivery performance.
  • Facilitate collaborative problem-solving discussions to resolve day-to-day operational and supplier-related challenges.
  • Investigate inbound receipt discrepancies and performance issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on supplier conformance, delivery presentation, and internal operational processes.
  • Use performance data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and contribute to operational reviews, supplier workshops, and process improvement activities to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service performance.
  • Promote best practice across supplier and operational processes to improve overall supply chain effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in supplier management, inbound logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of supplier packaging, labelling, consignment presentation, and inbound compliance requirements within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of supplier compliance processes, including ASN management, delivery documentation, goods receipt, and inventory control.
  • Experience monitoring supplier performance and driving compliance against packaging, labelling, and inbound delivery standards using KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve supplier packaging, paperwork, and delivery-related issues, ensuring minimal operational impact.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with experience implementing corrective and preventative actions to improve supplier performance.
