To provide and deliver a consistent and reliable Commodity Support Services Inventory Plan and an effective Equipment Management plan for the Team Leidos Community.
Job Responsibilities
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer system generated Demand Forecast exceptions in line with business priorities meeting performance KPIs.
- Ensure configuration is reviewed and optimised to meet/support business KPIs
- Interface with Commodity, Category and Supply Chain colleagues to develop class leading Inventory and Supply Chain strategies.
- To derive and set stocking policy and initial inventory level for new product introductions.
- Calculate and administer ‘All time Buys’.
- Participate in process improvement projects under the direction of the Senior Inventory Planner.
- Support Senior Inventory Planner in analysing data outputs from Msys in order to refine configuration.
- Support Senior Inventory Planner in developing reporting and performance metrics.
- Develop to become an Msys Super User.
- Control access to specific items/lines in line with Customer directed restrictions.
- Analysis of future Customer requirements, producing feedback reports and system adjustments to best meet these needs.
- Support MSS (Medical Support Services) programme and outputs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demand Planning using system-based techniques.
- Ability to work at pace in a change environment.
- Willingness to learn.
- Medical Supply Chain experience is desirable but not essential.
