This newly created position is required to expand the Finance team due to growth of the business.
This person will be responsible for all financial requirements for a number of clients, including a large energy and services company, which is a key client currently progressing through a significant transformation project.
This person will provide Finance business partnering support, reporting and analysis for internal and external purposes; and provide support to the Account Management team in fulfilling the contracted services for those clients.
- Job Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the preparation of client information for internal and external reporting purposes, covering the following:
- Calculation of fees and production of client statements
- Preparation of all supporting reports and data
- Weekly reporting requirements
- Other ad hoc analysis as required
- Preparation of all monthly management accounts elements relating to these clients
- Production of commercial modelling for forecasts and annual plan
- Scenario modelling and costing for contract renewals, extensions, additional scope of work
- Working alongside the Account Management teams and Senior Leadership Teams in provision of the contracted services
- Requires detailed knowledge of the client contracts
- Work closely with Account Manager to remain aware of all activity and ensure all billable work is identified and invoiced
- Identify opportunities to maximise profitability
- Attendance at contract review meetings as required
- Supporting quarterly and year end external audits, and internal control audits
- Continuously seek out process improvements
Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA with 2-3 years experience
- Experience of working within a busy finance department in a similar role with a client focus
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial issues to non-finance professionals
- Organised and flexible approach to work, and able to work well under pressure
- Strong Excel skills
