The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The IT field role covers a variety of customers from banks to hospitality and retail. This work is completed on behalf of several major IT service providers in the UK at various customer sites. The equipment that we cover ranges from desktop PCs and laptops to chip and pin devices and printers. Accredited printer training is offered to full multi-function device level. All work is scripted, and there is also a Technical support desk to assist you whilst on a customer site should you encounter an issue.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- IT Break Fix swapping out Chip & Pin devices, scanners, monitors, base units.
- Basic non-technical back door swaps, deliveries and collections.
- Driving between customer locations.
- Supporting customers on large sites on scheduled weekly/monthly visits.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
- Good understanding of IT and technology.
- Basic understanding of software architectures.
- Ability to actively drive problems to resolution.
- Ability to interact with clients, management and peers in an appropriate, professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and self-study.
- Team worker.
- Full Clean Driving License (no more than 3 penalty points).
