We’re GemOne, a start-up global tech company within TVH. We work in the field of telematics. We co-create cloud-based solutions and the necessary hardware components to gather data from industrial equipment, which our customers then use to streamline their industrial fleet management. In a nutshell, we make technology that helps companies look after their industrial machinery and business better — we enable them to work safer and more efficiently, and save time and money.

We have offices all over the world: from Belgium to the USA; and from Asia to Australia. We are growing rapidly and we’re looking for people with a can-do mindset and a team player mentality.

Responsibilities:

  • Do active sales and business development, prospect new customers and develop new relationships, promoting our IoT solutions to stimulate and grow sales.
  • Be the first point of contact for our clients.
  • Prepare and plan customer visits to mixed fleet rental companies and dealers.
  • Monitor the region to detect commercial opportunities and identify actions to monetise these opportunities.
  • Ensure sales ops execution, quality and keep up to date with industry trends.
  • Ensure proper quality of back-office work and maximising customer experience.
  • Initiate and maintain good contacts with existing and potential customers and TVH sales reps in order to build a network of relationships that contributes to reaching the sales objectives.
  • Work independently, strongly collaborating with GemOne sales colleagues and with TVH sales reps and report to the Head of EMEA.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in experience.
  • 5+ years’ proven experience in new business development and consultative sales in a SaaS B2B environment, of which at least 3 years sales experience in solutions (preferably IoT) and/or material handling or heavy industry.
  • Native English (written and spoken).
  • Must have the art of listening down to a science and feel comfortable cold calling prospects.
  • Strong analytical skills, organized, result oriented and structured.
  • Autonomous self-starter who takes charge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Tech-savvy with IT affinity and experience with working with ERP systems to log activities and quote requests.
  • You live in the UK (preferably based in the West of the UK), can easily travel by train, plane or car and you’re happy to travel (at least 3 days a week).

What's in it for you?

  • A great opportunity to grow personally and professionally in a scale-up environment with the backing and certainty of a large global corporation (TVH).
  • You’ll be part of a dynamic team, where initiative and entrepreneurship are highly valued.
