Content for the site comes from the HowTheLightGetsIn Festival, the world's largest philosophy and music festival, and monthly online IAI Live events.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious person to join our communications and digital marketing team as a Junior Web Analyst.

As a Junior Web Analyst, you will be motivated by understanding how users find our website, and will explore and develop different ways to improve website interaction and conversions. You will have the ability to interpret and respond to data patterns and the imagination to come up with goal-oriented solutions. As the role develops you will build up a thorough understanding of how to use analytical tools to drive changes to the website, and gain experience of wireframes, user flows, and website design.

You will work alongside experienced designers, developers and our Creative Director, helping to realise the IAI’s short and long term digital goals. You will need to be results focused, agile and have excellent organisational skills. You will be a good communicator with sound editorial judgement. You will track the performance of our site/s, try out new concepts and ideas, reporting back to the senior team with your findings and analysis. As you grow in experience you will have the opportunity to put forward your own ideas and develop your own strategies.

Applicants for this position will need to demonstrate exceptional academic results (min. 2.1 from a top university). In addition, all candidates will need to show they are passionate about the content we create and our goal to change how the world thinks putting philosophy and big thinking at the centre of culture. Experience of Google Analytics and UX Research, basic design knowledge and experience of working with websites are all highly desirable and an advantage though not essential if you are able to show engagement in and understanding of the contemporary digital environment. Well-suited degrees include philosophy, maths, human sciences, economics, psychology, marketing, or computer science.
