TÜV SÜD is an international provider of testing, inspection and certification (TIC) services, as well as technical advisory and R&D. We deliver to customers from a range of industries including Renewable & Sustainable Energy, Oil & Gas, Water and Government.
Over the last four years we have developed significant capability in hydrogen and CCUS sectors, and have recently expanded our services related to sustainability and renewable energy. These four service lines are part of our Green Energy and Sustainability (GES) business area, which now requires additional bid and sales support to our business development team to sustain its growth.
We are seeking a candidate to lead quotation writing, tender/bid development, and maintain internal systems for tracking sales opportunities within the GES sector.
The ideal candidate will have experience in quote preparation, bid writing, and understanding tender processes with good commercial awareness. Experience with public procurement processes is advantageous but not essential. The candidate should be passionate about sustainability and decarbonisation, with excellent attention to detail, organizational, and planning skills to ensure timely, well-structured, and compliant bids.
The role offers flexibility for home, office, or hybrid working, with occasional travel (up to 10%). Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
Qualifications/Qualifikationen
Essential: Proven experience in sales and bid management, successful track record in winning work, technical bid writing, customer orientation, high organization and deadline management skills, excellent communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and enthusiasm for energy transition and net-zero goals.
Advantageous: Degree in STEM or equivalent experience, familiarity with public sector tender processes, knowledge of hydrogen, CCUS, and sustainability regulations, standards, and legislation, valid UK driving license.
