Key Responsibilities
As a Family Solicitor at TV Edwards LLP, you will:
- Handle a varied caseload of private paying matrimonial financial work including divorce, financial remedies and pre-nuptial agreements. Alongside cohabitation, and private children work.
- Provide expert advice and representation to clients, maintaining the highest professional standards.
- Work collaboratively across our offices in Whitechapel and Clapham Junction, engaging with clients in both locations
- Contribute to the ongoing success and development of our thriving family department
Skills / Knowledge Requirements
- A qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in family law with technical expertise and practical application of the law
- Proven experience in managing matrimonial matters including divorce, financial matters, and private children cases.
- A strong understanding of family financial matters including cohabitation developments
- Strong client-care skills, with the ability to offer empathetic and practical advice.
- A proactive independent approach to case management and collaborative approach to work .
- Excellent communications skills to work with a wide range of private paying clients
- Commitment to maintaining the firm’s reputation for excellence and professionalism.
- Resolution accreditation essential; advance accreditations with Resolution or Law society ideal
- Business Development skills preferred
