Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team of EMC and RF specialists, the Logistics Coordinator will support a team of Test Technicians and Engineers ensuring efficient and effective set up of test equipment, coordinating calibration activities and other operational support as needed.
- Act as Crypto Custodian, controlling secure test samples at all times, including creation and maintenance of any necessary documentation.
- Ensuring test equipment is processed through calibration as required.
- Utilisation of company systems including Storix and the Test Equipment (TE) Database.
- Create and control internal TE audit documents and update the TE Database.
- Support implementation of 5S standards and maintain 5S activities.
- Quarantine items that are not in use or required.
- Support Technicians and Engineers where necessary.
- Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects, helping the team to improve and innovate.
- Support Team Leaders as necessary.
Qualifications
- Essential Criteria you will have: a basic technical knowledge or a willingness to learn about EMC technologies.
- Experience in materials control, logistics or providing operational support to test engineers would be beneficial but not essential.
- Self driven and able to work with own initiative.
- Motivated and enthusiastic, with a positive approach to work.
- Reliable and demonstrating a clear focus on high quality.
- Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
- Can demonstrate practical ability in a technical environment.
- Good understanding of IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to undertake manual handling, during transportation of equipment.
- Able to access Fareham facility daily.

- Previous exposure to engineering projects or disciplines, through employment, education or personal projects.
