Our team of EMC-focused Technicians or Engineers deliver comprehensive EMC testing services for new and innovative technology and devices across various industries. The Technician or Engineer will be responsible for setting up and completing EMC test projects and accurately delivering results to customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers, Engineers, and Project Managers to provide EMC testing in screened enclosure and in-situ environments.
  • Support customers before and during testing, especially during failure phases.
  • Maintain data and electronic logbooks.
  • Generate test procedures, including photos and measurement uncertainty calculations.
  • Develop test plans and generate reports.
  • Contribute to test equipment/method development.
  • Support validation of client requirements, including site visits.
  • Assist sales with technical information for quotes.
  • Develop expertise in specific testing areas and provide training.

Qualifications/Essential Criteria:

  • At Technician level: Self-driven, enthusiastic, willing to learn and develop skills. Willing to work overtime and shifts as needed.
  • At Engineer level: Includes Technician criteria. Experience in an EMC test environment, knowledge of EMC directives and standards. Experience with test equipment like spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF generators, power meters.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and test systems.
  • Electronics engineering experience.
  • Customer-facing skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
