Position Summary
TÜV SÜD America is seeking a Software Engineer to join our agile development team. The role involves building and implementing secure, enterprise-grade software systems using the Microsoft .NET development stack. The ideal candidate is a hands-on application developer experienced in developing scalable data platforms and business intelligence solutions, comfortable working independently in an agile environment, and committed to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Build internal and external web applications with a deep understanding of .NET, demonstrating mastery of development best practices and experience in architecting scalable web applications.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to implement bug-free digital experiences.
- Engage with the business on design and requirements issues.
- Design, develop, and perform unit testing of applications following established standards.
- Create scalable, automated solutions for customers.
- Identify opportunities for application improvement, making recommendations for system design and implementation.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
- Estimate task durations and deliver solutions on time.
- Stay informed about new technologies and industry developments.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of software development experience with .NET.
- 3+ years of experience with applications using JavaScript, Knockout, Telerik, Maui, React, or jQuery.
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server or other relational DBMS.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, and MVVM design pattern.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Object-oriented design and coding experience.
