Responsibilities and Authority

  • Provide day-to-day purchasing administrative support for the operating and shared service companies and supported overseas TÜV SÜD Group companies
  • Produce high volume conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders and commitments placed with suppliers
  • Review requisitions and terms and conditions prior to placing orders
  • Provide support to Buyer in Invitation to Tender projects
  • Negotiate smaller value ongoing business service contracts
  • Review and maintenance of Approved Suppliers Database
  • Source and support Operational staff with requests for goods and services
  • Create and maintain supplier records and data on SAP
  • Provide training for business on Procurement Best Practice and TÜV SÜD Group systems and processes
  • Work as an integral member of the Finance and Purchasing function and provide ad hoc administrative support when necessary
  • Undertaking additional or other duties, as may be required by the business from time to time, as directed by your line manager
