We are looking for an Engineer Surveyor to join our team of experts.

You will be responsible for carrying out all statutory inspections at customer locations in a timely manner to ensure compliance of each piece of equipment.

You will also liaise with the planning team to ensure effective and efficient routes for delivery of each inspection to meet our contractual obligations.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections/examinations of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with all statutory regulations.
  • Be actively involved in stock control, data entry and other processes as required on a day-to-day basis.
  • Carry out LOLER / PUWER inspections on various types of lifting equipment.
  • Complete necessary paperwork in line with the company's set procedures.
  • Build rapport with clients, providing excellent customer service.
  • Complete site inspection reports in line with applicable regulations.
  • Adhere to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Essential Criteria

  • A recognised Mechanical/Electrical qualification is highly advantageous (NVQ 3 minimum).
  • Demonstrable experience in the lift industry.
  • Experienced engineer with Mechanical/Electrical skills.
  • EOR 202/SAFed LR1 qualification.
  • Excellent IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A team player with a positive "can-do" attitude who actively and positively engages with colleagues, adopting a proactive approach to change and self‑development.
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Criteria

  • Engineering experience with lifting equipment.
  • Experience with Eng-Tech.
  • Escalator knowledge.
