A dynamic and friendly Nuclear Safety Senior Consultant is sought to join T V S D. You will report to the Safety Team Business Manager and support consultancy services across various nuclear safety areas.
At the senior level, the role offers diverse opportunities to explore all areas within the Nuclear Safety Group, enabling you to gain broad experience in the nuclear industry with the goal of developing a specialized expertise.
You will be expected to undertake additional tasks to ensure the success of our business and to develop your skills in project management, marketing, commercial activities, and business processes.
Key skills include excellent written and oral communication, strong IT skills across MS packages, and the ability to work independently and in teams. Occasional travel to client sites and stakeholder engagement may be required. You must be eligible for appropriate security clearance.
Your responsibilities :
- Providing consultancy in areas such as safety case strategy, hazard identification, safety functional requirements, safety classification, engineering schedules, ALARP justifications, INSA, safety reviews, licensing, and project management.
Essential:
- A numerate degree and experience in the UK nuclear safety industry.
Desirable:
- Membership of or working towards a professional body and knowledge of international regulatory regimes.
