We are a premium quality, safety, and sustainability solutions provider.\\n\\nThe Vertical Transportation Consultant role incorporates design, project management and maintenance account management services to major clients and projects.\\n\\nMain Duties & Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Site surveys, evaluation and assessment of existing lift and escalator installations\\n\\n * Produce client reports with recommendations and solutions\\n\\n * Produce technical and performance specifications\\n\\n * Analysis of contractor proposals and production of tender reports\\n\\n * Project management of refurbishment and new installations\\n\\n * Quality auditing of existing installations for maintenance reporting\\n\\n * Principal designer duties\\n\\n * Client account management – liaising with contractors to ensure delivery of their contracted services\\n\\n * Preparation of fee proposals, invoicing and credit control for projects and service client responsibilities\\n\\n * Seeking and generating new clients and projects\\n\\n * Producing Excel spreadsheet reports, graphs, and data\\n\\n * Proofreading technical reports\\n\\n * Assist in debt chasing\\n\\n * Assist in completion of PQQ and tender questionnaires and documentation\\n\\nEssential Criteria:\\n\\n * Previous experience in lift industry operational roles\\n\\n * BTEC HNC Mechanical or Electrical, or higher qualification\\n\\n * Account management experience for major national client/portfolio\\n\\n * Knowledge of MF/1 contract\\n\\n * Previous VT experience\\n\\n * Knowledge of MS Excel\\n\\n * Lift management experience\\n\\n * Commercial experience (sales)\\n\\n * Health and safety qualification, EOR202 safe working on lifts a minimum\\n\\n * Demonstrable ability to produce client reports\\n\\nDesirable Criteria:\\n\\n * Experience with traffic analysis\\n\\n * Qualified and experienced site-based Lift Engineer to Technician NVQ4 or equivalent\\n\\nFurther Information\\n\\nTÜV SÜD in the UK offers a competitive salary and benefits package that includes a minimum of 33 days holiday entitlement (for full-time employees, including public holidays), a contributory Group Personal Pension Plan and a non-contributory Group Life Assurance Scheme.
