Position Summary: With over 70 years\’ experience in the UK, TÜV SÜD provides testing, product certification, knowledge services and training to a range of industries covering the Aerospace, Defence, Electronics & Consumer, Machinery, Marine, Medical, Rail and Telecommunications sectors. We are now looking for an Engineer Surveyor to join our team of experts. You will be responsible for carrying out all Statutory Inspections at customer locations in a timely manner to ensure compliance of each piece of equipment. You will also liaise with the planning team to ensure effective and efficient routes for delivery of each inspection to meet our contractual obligations. Duties and Responsibilities: * Carry out inspections/examinations of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with all statutory regulations. * To be actively involved in stock control, data entries and other processes as required from day to day. * Carry out LOLER / PUWER inspection on various types of Lifting Equipment. * Complete necessary paperwork in line with the companies set procedures. * Building rapport with clients, providing excellent customer service. * Complete site inspection reports in line with applicable Regulations. * Adhering to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations. * Other duties as required. Essential Criteria: * Demonstrable experience in the Lift Industry. * Experienced engineer with Mechanical/Electrical skills * EOR 202/SAFed LR1. * Excellent IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. * A team player with a positive “can-do” attitude who actively and positively engages with colleagues with a proactive approach to change and self-development. * Able to work unsupervised. * Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Criteria. * Engineering experience with Lifting Equipment. * A recognised Mechanical/Electrical qualification is highly advantageous (NVQ 3 minimum) Further Information TÜV SÜD in the UK offers a competitive salary and benefits package that includes a minimum of 33 days holiday entitlement (for full-time employees, including public holidays), a contributory Group Personal Pension Plan and a non-contributory Group Life Assurance Scheme.
