This role combines strategic learning portfolio management with hands‑on delivery responsibility, ensuring that learning initiatives build critical capabilities, support business priorities, and provide a consistent employee experience across TÜV SÜD globally. You will act as the central interface between business stakeholders, subject‑matter experts, learning partners, Learning SuccessFactors Project Team, and Learning Admin team, ensuring alignment and delivery excellence across the full learning lifecycle — from needs analysis and design through delivery, rollout, and impact evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business priorities and capability needs into a coherent global learning roadmap and portfolio.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of learning initiatives, ensuring clear scope, milestones, governance, and resource planning.
  • Define success measures, monitor learning impact, and continuously improve solutions based on data and feedback.
  • Act as the main point of contact for global and regional learning stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable learning priorities.
  • Partner with Regions, Centers of Excellence, People Business Partners, and subject‑matter experts to align content, delivery, and local implementation.
  • Apply modern adult‑learning principles to create engaging, inclusive, and scalable learning experiences across virtual, digital, and in‑person formats.
  • Enable regional learning managers and learning administrators.
  • Drive communication, learner engagement, and manager enablement to strengthen participation, transfer, and sustained adoption.
  • Coordinate global learning rollouts and delivery calendars, scaling regional successful practices.
  • Ensure effective use of learning SuccessFactors, smooth learner support, and timely resolution of delivery issues.
  • Establish consistent learning standards, governance, and quality criteria while enabling appropriate regional flexibility.
  • Partner with People Technology team and SuccessFactors project team to translate learning requirements into scalable digital solutions and an intuitive learner experience.
  • Ensure learning content and processes comply with data protection, accessibility, works council, and other relevant requirements.
  • Prioritize learning demand and make operational decisions within the agreed learning portfolio and governance framework.
  • Recommend learning investments, delivery approaches, and portfolio adjustments based on business value and evidence.
  • Select, manage, and oversee external learning partners to ensure quality, value, and alignment with global standards.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in learning and development or capability building within a global, matrixed organisation.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into learning strategies and lead initiatives from design through global rollout.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning and scalable virtual, digital, and in‑person solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder, facilitation, project leadership, and external partner management skills.
  • Experience with learning technologies, ideally SAP SuccessFactors Learning, and learning governance.
  • Data‑informed mindset with experience measuring learning impact and driving continuous improvement.
