Job Description We are currently recruiting for a CAT 3 Inspection Engineer to cover the Northeast The role will focus on the Inspection of pressurised static equipment e. g. vessels, tanks, piping, relief devices, to meet regulatory and client requirements Requirements
- Trained/qualified in a relevant engineering discipline., engineering Technician status desirable.
- 5 years of experience working within a relevant engineering discipline e. g. mechanical technician.
- Mechanical Engineering background.
- Experience in the Chemical and /or Oil & Gas sectors
- Understanding of engineering principals.
- EEMUA / API / NDT qualification/experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Eye for detail.
- Meeting tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills, and the capability to work independently.
- Appreciation of pressure equipment
- Experience / appreciation of non-destructive examination techniques (NDT) Successful applicants must meet the UKAS definition for category 3 inspection engineers as seen below: Category 3.
Engineering Technician as defined by Engineering Council or equivalent (e. g.
Appropriate ONC with relevant experience, NVQ Level III) having a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a relevant discipline of which at least one year shall have been spent working within an engineering discipline associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems.
