Strategic Leadership: As a Bid Manager, you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, leading the preparation and submission of compelling bids that align with our strategic goals.
Risk Management: As a gatekeeper for the tender submission, you will be responsible for ensuring the business risks are considered in the commercial and technical submissions, coordinating and collaborating with key stakeholders.
Project Management: You will oversee the entire bid process from inception to completion, ensuring that timelines are met and quality standards are upheld. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is key to success in this role. You will collaborate with technical experts, sales teams, and clients to gather insights and tailor our bids to meet specific needs and expectations.

- Experience of commercial tendering, preferably in a relevant industry.
- Capable of coordinating the bid activity and inputs from a virtual cross-business team.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong focus on Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience of handling financial data / understanding of cost models.
- An ability to handle and process large amounts of spreadsheet data.
- A reasonable understanding of Quality and IT systems or capability to assimilate these systems, including SharePoint.
- Proficiency in low-level programming or scripting to automate workload, including the processing of document and numbers from customers or suppliers.
