TUV Rheinland UK is looking for a Graduate Technical Officer to support our Government Inspections & International Trade department. The role involves coordinating certification activities, reviewing applications and technical reports, and issuing conformity certificates in line with regulatory and QHSE requirements, while liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal commercial teams.
Job Description:
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documents for the certification process.
- Conduct application reviews using the Saber system for conformity assessment programs.
- Draft certificates (CoC, TIR, CoI) and related documents via appropriate platforms.
- Update Saber system status for Saleem program files based on review outcomes.
- Assist in preparing quotations for the commercial order processing team.
- Conduct technical reviews of test, inspection, and audit reports.
- Arrange testing, inspections and audits with approved subcontractors and clients.
- Make certification decisions based on technical review results.
- Issue final certificates and reports through designated platforms.
- Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
- The incumbent is authorized to take any reasonable action necessary to carry out the assigned responsibilities, provided that such action is consistent with sound company and cost-effective practices and is consistent with position guidelines as outlined above.
- Special assignments may be carried out based on the instructions of the direct superior, usually connected to the above listed activities or a result of company policy.
- The responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive and may evolve based on business needs.
- Job role training will be provided.
