Job Summary
TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) is seeking an experienced and dedicated QHSE Advisor to join our team in Warrington or Belasis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Management Systems. This role ensures compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards, and TUV Rheinland policies and procedures. As a QHSE Advisor, you will provide essential leadership and expert advice to TRIS management and staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Scope:
- Oversee all QHSE activities across TRIS Solution Groups (SGs) and support services.
- Engage with external bodies including customers, Certification Bodies, Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and TUV Group QHSE.
Job Description
- Compliance and Standards: Interpret legislative requirements and TUV group procedures to develop and implement appropriate QHSE standards and procedures for the TRIS business.
- Certification Maintenance: Ensure TRIS maintains compliance and retains ISO certifications.
- Audit Coordination: Lead and coordinate audits conducted by external bodies such as Certification Bodies, customers, HSE, and TUV Rheinland Group.
- Expert Advice: Provide comprehensive QHSE advice and support to TRIS management and staff.
- Training Development: Identify QHSE training needs, develop and implement training programs, and manage training metrics and tracking systems.
- KPI Reporting: Monitor QHSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to management and staff.
- Internal Audits: Execute an internal QHSE audit program in accordance with ISO and TUV Rheinland standards.
- Procedure Management: Implement a suite of QHSE controlled procedures, records, and systems.
- Incident Management: Lead and coordinate investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
- Customer Relations: Manage customer complaints and ensure resolution in accordance with established procedures.
- Risk Assessment: Provide risk assessment support and approval to ensure safety and compliance.
- Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization. Represent TRIS QHSE at external conferences and customer presentations.
- Communication: Disseminate key safety learnings and statistics to TRIS and TUV Rheinland stakeholders.
- Competency Management: Coordinate the centralized training and competency system management (CARD).
- Management Review: Coordinate and perform annual Management Review of TRIS activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant experience in a QHSE role within the industry.
- NEBOSH certification (or equivalent). Support for obtaining this qualification is available if not already attained.
- ISO Audit experience and/or qualification.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
