Tuum is a next-generation banking platform. We enable fintech and banks to rapidly offer seamless and tailored financial services to their customers. Our core banking platform is revolutionising the financial services industry. The platform is API-based, consisting of flexible and independent modules covering all retail and business banking capabilities for quick and easy integration. We are growing rapidly and looking for a driven and curious Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic team.
You will be the technical and product expert in the sales cycle, working alongside our Account Executives to show financial institutions the art of the possible with Tuum. You will report directly to our Director of Solution Consulting, a leader who has built the function from the ground up in the region and has a proven track record of mentoring and developing talent. What you’ll be doing
- Be the technical heart of the deal. As a Solutions Consultant, you will be the bridge between our prospects’ business challenges and our platform’s capabilities.
- Discover & Consult: Partner with the sales team to deeply understand a prospect’s technical landscape, operational pain points, and strategic goals.
- Demonstrate & Inspire: Craft and deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations that bring the Tuum value proposition to life, directly addressing the client’s needs.
- Solve & Architect: Own the technical aspects of the sales process. You will confidently manage and respond to RFIs/RFPs, run deep-dive workshops, and design high-level solution architectures that showcase how Tuum can transform their business.
- Prove the Value: Lead and execute impactful Proof of Concepts (POCs) that prove our platform’s capabilities and build immense trust with future customers.
- Be the Voice of the Market: Act as a crucial feedback loop to our Product and Engineering teams, sharing market insights from your client interactions to help shape the future of the Tuum platform.
- Enable the Ecosystem: Support our Marketing and Partner teams by helping create technical content, demo videos, and other collateral that fuels our growth.
Who we’re looking for
This role is about a specific blend of technical aptitude, business acumen, and a passion for client-facing work.
- Must-Have Experience: You have hands-on experience as a Solutions Consultant, Pre-Sales Consultant, or a similar client-facing role within a modern software or SaaS company. Your experience includes selling complex technology solutions to financial institutions (banks, fintechs, etc.).
- Financial Domain Knowledge: You understand the fundamentals of banking (retail or commercial products, payments) and are passionate about the latest trends in fintech and cloud technology.
- Technical Curiosity: You have a strong grasp of modern enterprise architecture concepts. You’re comfortable discussing cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), APIs, microservices, and the technologies that power them (Kubernetes, Kafka).
- Exceptional Communicator: You can translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive business value for a range of audiences, from engineers to C-level executives.
- Collaborative & Driven: You thrive in a team environment, work proactively, and have a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the team’s success.
