We are looking for a visionary In-House Photographer & Content Creator to produce high-quality product and lifestyle imagery, video content, and social-first creative assets that engage, inspire, and convert.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled photographer with a deep understanding of lighting, composition, and storytelling, who is also proactive, strategic, and brimming with creative ideas. The role will be based in our photography studio in Milton Keynes we have. a beautiful studio that we are just kitting out so part of the role will be to help us acquire the equipment and set it up as you see fit. Then you will have the space and freedom to execute our creative vision.
Key Responsibilities
📸 Product & Lifestyle Photography
· Capture high-quality product and lifestyle imagery that aligns with our brand’s visual identity and commercial objectives.
· Shoot across multiple formats, including:
· Cut-out (e-commerce) photography on a white background.
· Lifestyle photography featuring products in curated room sets.
· Photography with models, ensuring natural, aspirational, and emotive storytelling.
· Maintain an expert understanding of angles, composition, product styling, and visual hierarchy to highlight key product features.
· Work closely with stylists and creative teams to plan and execute shoots that elevate the brand.
💡 Lighting & Technical Expertise
· Master studio and natural lighting techniques to achieve the desired look for each campaign.
· Set up and control strobe, continuous, and natural lighting setups to create depth, texture, and warmth.
· Adapt to different shooting conditions and product surfaces, ensuring perfect exposure and minimal reflections.
· Optimize camera settings, lens choices, and shooting techniques to enhance image quality and maintain brand consistency.
🎥 Video Content Creation & Campaign Videos
· Capture compelling video content for product launches, brand campaigns, and social media promotions.
· Film and edit feature-led product videos, including hero videos for new launches, how-to tutorials, and behind-the-scenes brand stories.
· Create aspirational, emotive video content that sells the dream, using movement, lighting, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
· Work with marketing and creative teams to produce scroll-stopping short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok.
· Ensure video content aligns with our brand’s premium, warm, and contemporary aesthetic.
🎨 Post-Production & Retouching
· Edit and retouch all imagery and video content to ensure flawless final assets.
· Use Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve to enhance colours, remove imperfections, and optimize for different platforms.
· Deliver high-end retouching, including colour correction, skin retouching, background clean-up, and compositing.
· Maintain a consistent look and feel across all assets, ensuring strong brand identity.
🚀 Creative Strategy & Input
· Bring a strategic, forward-thinking approach to content creation—anticipating trends and continuously elevating our brand visuals.
· Provide creative input on campaign concepts, art direction, and set styling.
· Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure visual storytelling aligns with product messaging and customer psychology.
· Take ownership of the creative vision, pitching new ideas for engaging content across digital, social, and print platforms.
Required Skills & Expertise
· Strong Portfolio – Proven experience in commercial product photography.
· Visionary Mindset – Ability to conceptualise and execute high-impact visuals that drive sales and brand engagement.
· Organisation Skills – proven ability to manage a studios workflow and day to day activity.
· Technical Mastery – Deep understanding of camera gear, lenses, and lighting setups for both photography and video.
· Expert Composition & Styling – Knows how to frame products beautifully, emphasising their best features.
✔️ Studio & On-Location Experience – Comfortable working in a controlled studio environment and adaptable for location shoots.
✔️ Advanced Retouching & Editing Skills – Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Lightroom, and video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve).
✔️ Content Creation for social media – Understanding of social-first storytelling, including engagement-driven visuals and short-form video.
✔️ Ability to Work at Pace – Works quickly and efficiently to deliver high volumes of assets without compromising quality.
✔️ Problem-Solver – Able to troubleshoot lighting challenges, reflections, product imperfections, and last-minute creative adjustments.
