Make a Real Impact as an SEN Tutor.
Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students with SEN or SEHM needs? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You\'ll provide personalised 1:1 support in English and Maths for Turkish speaking students. These in-person sessions in Clapton offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
This job is in-person in the Clapton area
Day(s) and Time(s): Weekday afternoons, Monday - Friday
Hours: 2 hours per day, building up to 3 hours per day
Subject and Level: KS1 Maths and English and Communication Activities
Pay: £35 p/h
Start date: As soon as possible
What You\'ll Do
Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
Assessing any barriers to student\'s learning and working to overcome these
Monitoring student progress and producing reports
Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you\'re providing subject tuition in
Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements
We\'re looking for someone who has:
A Bachelor\'s degree
2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
Speaks fluent Turkish
Experience working with students with communication difficulties and speech delays
An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The right to be self employed in the UK
