Make a Real Impact as a Secondary Maths Tutor. Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised, group support in Maths for Secondary students. These in-person sessions in Kensington offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

This job is in-person in the Kensington and Chelsea area.

  • Hours: up to 13 hours per week
  • Days and Times: Monday - Friday, school hours
  • Subjects and Level: KS3 - GCSE Maths
  • Start date: Start of January 2026
  • Contract length: Until March 2026
  • Rate of pay: £35 p/hr

What You'll Do:

  • Provide group tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
  • Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
  • Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
  • Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
  • An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The right to be self-employed in the UK
