Make a Real Impact as a Primary Tutor. Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised 1:1 support in various subjects at KS2 Level. These in-person sessions in Stoke Newington offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
This job is in-person in the Stoke Newington area.
Day(s) and Time(s): Monday - Friday
Hour(s): Flexible
Subject and Level: KS2 // Various Subjects
What You'll Do:
- Deliver up to 15 hours of tutoring per week, with sessions split across the school day
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Provide targeted support for students with SEN and/or SEMH
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
- Qualified Teacher Status is preferred
- Experience teaching in Primary Schools
- Knowledge of KS2 Curriculum across all subjects
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The right to be self employed in the UK
