Make a Real Impact as a KS3 Tutor. Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students with SEMH needs? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised, 1:1 support in Maths, Science and English for KS3 students. These in-person sessions in Milton Keynes offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

Day(s)/Time(s): Monday - Friday, during school hours
Subject and Level: KS3 Maths, Science and English
Rate of pay: £35 p/h
What You'll Do:
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level.
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Provide targeted support for students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you’re providing subject tuition in.
- Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ years of tutoring/teaching experience.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviour.
- Trauma informed practice (preferred).
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The right to be self-employed in the UK.
