You’ll provide personalised, group support in Maths for Secondary students. These in-person sessions in Kensington offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
This job is in-person in the Kensington and Chelsea area.
- Hour(s): up to 13 hours per week
- Day(s) and Time(s): Monday - Friday, school hours
- Subjects and Level: KS3 - GCSE Maths
- Start date: Start of January 2026
- Contract length: Until March 2026
- Rate of pay: £40 p/hr
What You’ll Do:
- Provide group tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you’re providing subject tuition in
- Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Qualified Teacher Status
- 2+ years of tutoring/teaching experience
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The right to be self-employed in the UK
