Make a Real Impact as a Biology Tutor. Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students with SEN or SEHM needs? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You'll provide personalised, small group support in A Level Biology for 5 students. These in-person sessions in Hammersmith and Fulham offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

- Time: 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

- Contract length: 7 weeks
- Rate of pay: Β£30 p/h
What You'll Do
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level.
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Provide targeted support for students.
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in.
- Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or related Science Subjects.
- 1+ years of tutoring / teaching experience.
- Experience working with students with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The right to be self-employed in the UK.
