We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors who'll provide personalized, 1:1 support for students in GCSE Geography. These in-person sessions in Hackney offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

Hours: 4 hours per week
Contract Length: Indefinite
Available Days and Times: Monday - Friday, after 11am
Subject and Level: GCSE Geography
Start Date: Immediate
Rate of Pay: £35 p/h
What You'll Do:
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individual's needs and study level
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to each student's unique needs
- Provide targeted support for students
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor progress, produce reports, and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks for the subject
- Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum qualification of A-Level Geography (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of tutoring/teaching experience
- Experience working with students with SEND or SEMH is preferred
- Experience working with students with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is preferred
- Ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to be self-employed in the UK
