Make a Real Impact as a Science Tutor. Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors to join our tutor database. You'll provide personalised, 1:1 or small group support in Science for GCSE students. These in‐person sessions in Enfield offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

This job is in‐person in the Enfield area.

Hours: 1 hour per week

Day(s): Monday - Friday

Time(s): After school

Rate of pay: £35 p/h

What You'll Do

  • Provide 1:1 tuition that is appropriate for the individual's needs and study level
  • Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
  • Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
  • Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
  • Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Qualified Teacher Status (preferred)
  • 1+ years of tutoring / teaching experience.
  • An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The right to be self‐employed in the UK
