GCSE Maths and English Tutor with SEN Experience

Are you passionate about teaching GCSE Maths and English? We are looking for qualified Maths and English Tutors with SEN experience who can develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, assess student learning, and provide academic support. Tutors should be effective communicators capable of building positive relationships with students and families.

Location and schedule: This job is in person in the Milton Keynes area. Day(s): Monday - Friday (flexible). Time(s): School Hours. Start date: throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
  • Provide tuition appropriate for individual/group needs and study level
  • Identify barriers to learning and work to overcome them
  • Monitor student progress and produce reports
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum content and qualification frameworks
  • Regularly report updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor7s degree
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • 1+ years of tutoring/teaching experience
  • Ability to work with students of all abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Right to be self-employed in the UK
