North London Collegiate School, London is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well-qualified graduate to join our dynamic and friendly Economics Department from September 2026. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and an inspiring teacher; they will hold a good first degree and have the expertise to prepare pupils for Oxbridge and other leading university destinations. The post would suit an experienced teacher or one who is new to the profession, and who is keen to contribute fully to the life of the school.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Economics to a range of abilities and contribute to the development of a challenging and supportive learning environment in and outside of the classroom.
  • Prepare pupils for Oxbridge and other leading university destinations through high-quality teaching and assessment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues and parents to support student progress and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the Economics Department to contribute to departmental planning and school life.

Qualifications

  • Good first degree.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and student outcomes.
  • Open to both experienced teachers and those new to the profession who are keen to contribute to the life of the school.
