Tutor Doctor Bristol is the leading local provider of one-to-one in-home and online tutoring for school children of all ages, subjects, levels and abilities. We are looking for Science Tutors in the areas of Bristol and surrounding areas. Ability to support in Maths/English at the same time would be highly desirable, but not at all a must.
Please note that tutors are self-employed, so candidates on a Tier 4 visa cannot be considered.
Responsibilities of Science Tutors at Tutor Doctor BristolWe are looking for passionate, enthusiastic Science Tutors to deliver at-home one-to-one tutoring to our customers. You will be expected to plan and deliver a customised tutoring programme to customers assigned to you after a careful matching process.
Requirements to be a Science Tutor at Tutor DoctorPrevious tutoring/teaching/exam marking experience is of an advantage, but it isn’t a requirement. Our tutors need to have strong subject knowledge as well as knowledge of syllabus and exam boards for one or all three of the Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Lessons can take place online or in-person (with appropriate social distancing and health precautions in light of covid-19). Please indicate whether or not you have your own vehicle.

- Deliver great tutoring lessons and academic coaching, as measured by client input to our Feedback Survey system.
