Responsibilities:
- Delivering one-to-one tutoring at the student's home in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas. Typically evening and weekends.
- Create customised lesson plans tailored to each student's unique learning needs and goals.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to boost student confidence.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide feedback on student performance.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level in Science, or currently in pursuit of.
- Teaching qualifications not necessary, however experience in tutoring is preferred.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes for tutoring sessions.
- All successful applicants will undergo a full reference check and will need to hold an Enhanced DBS. We can facilitate the Enhanced DBS, if required.
