Tutor Doctor has helped over 300,000 students of all ages and learning levels. Tutor Doctor Buckinghamshire delivers one-to-one education in the student’s home, locally or online. This role will involve in-school tuition and will require you to be available during school hours if possible. It is a fantastic opportunity to earn extra income outside of a 9-5 schedule, with the freedom to set your own hours.
You are reliable, hard-working, patient, understanding and have a positive attitude. You are able and willing to work with a variety of students, including SEN students with EHCPs. You have extensive knowledge of the UK curriculum and at least 2 years’ relevant experience. You can deliver quality one-to-one tuition in family homes, schools or designated areas. You can develop lesson plans to deliver predetermined plans and objectives. You can deliver innovative tutorials using resources and materials to suit each student’s needs. You are willing to keep records of students’ progress and able to give us weekly updates of your records. You are willing to adhere to our policies and procedures and maintain Tutor Doctor’s values and high-quality service. You are willing to complete the Tutor Doctor Orientation.
Education Requirement
- A Level Minimum Grade A-B in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
- Teaching certificate.
Other Requirements
- An Enhanced DBS check is required. We can arrange this for you.
- You need to have completed, or be willing to complete, safeguarding training and Prevent training.
- You need to provide us with the contact details of at least two references we can get in touch with.
