This role will require, but is not limited to, in-school tuition. Thus, candidates should preferably be able to tutor during school hours.

• You live or work in Buckinghamshire, or the Bucks side of Herts, or NW London (Ruislip, Pinner, Northwood, Denham etc).
• You are reliable, hard working, patient, understanding and have a positive attitude.
• You are able and willing to work with a variety of students, including SEN students with EHCPs.
• You have extensive knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• You have at least 2 years' relevant experience.
• You can deliver quality one to one tuition in family homes, schools or designated areas.
• You can develop lesson plans to deliver predetermined plans and objectives.
• You can deliver innovative tutorials using resources and materials to suit each student's needs.
• You are willing to keep records of students' progress and able to give us weekly updates of your records.
• You are willing to adhere to our policies and procedures and maintain Tutor Doctor's values and high-quality service.
• You are willing to complete the Tutor Doctor Orientation.

To include at least one of the following (Please note: you need to at least have completed your A Levels to be eligible to apply.):

• A Level Minimum Grade A - B in Biology, Chemistry/Physics
• Bachelors degree in a scientific field
• Teaching certificate

• An Enhanced DBS check is required. We can arrange this for you.
• You need to have completed, or be willing to complete, safeguarding training and prevent training.
• You need to provide us with the contact details of at least two references we can get in touch with.

As a self-employed tutor you choose which students you want to accept, and your own hours. Yet you have the backing of a reputable agency that does not simply make introductions but can offer guidance on the curriculum, course materials, exam papers, and free tutorials to ensure you are fully prepared. All Tutor Doctor clients have been visited and vetted by an educational consultant, so you know tutoring is safe, and that the student and family are fully committed. We handle all contracts, so you are given long-term assignments, and are paid monthly and on time.

We offer competitive hourly rates of £18 - £25 according to experience, qualifications, and the level you will be teaching.
