Tūtira Ashgrove School is seeking a relational, highly organised and collaborative Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) to lead and strengthen inclusive practices across our kura.

As our Learning Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating and strengthening support for ākonga with additional learning, behaviour and wellbeing needs. You will work closely with kaiako, teacher aides, whānau and external agencies while also building the capability of our staff to provide inclusive and responsive classroom environments.
We are looking for someone who
- Has a strong background in inclusive, adaptive and culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Is relational, approachable and able to build trusting relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues.
- Is highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities and complex support needs.
- Brings a solutions focused, energetic and flexible approach to their work.
- Has excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Is committed to building the capability of kaiako and teacher aides across the school.
- Is passionate about improving outcomes and removing barriers for ākonga.
- Enjoys being part of a busy, positive and fun school environment where teamwork, creativity and a willingness to pitch in are valued.
Our current Learning Support Coordinator will be retiring at the end of Term 2, 2027, providing an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to become familiar with Tūtira Ashgrove well before formally taking on the LSC role.
