About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Fabricator/Panel beater to join our team. As part of the Fabrication team, you will play a key role in the repair, preparation and fabrication of body shells and components, contributing to the build and restoration of high-quality road, race and rally vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be working in our state-of-the-art facility alongside a friendly, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Must be able to carry out corrosion repairs to an excellent standard
- Repair and up‑spec body shells to the highest level
- Carry out crash repairs using Celette jig and pulling equipment
- Being responsible for ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality
- Adhere to a high level of presentation
- Maintain the workshop in a clean and professional way
- All plant and equipment are maintained correctly, any defects reported
- Be familiar with and work to the company’s health and safety standards
- To comply with all company policies and procedures
- Support other departments when required
What We’re Looking For
- Must have good attention to detail
- An individual who is energetic, proactive, calm under pressure, highly personable, and has a mature personality
- Strong team‑worker – ability to thrive in a small, closely-knit, and dedicated team
- Be able to carry out tasks with minimal supervision
- Flexibility – being prepared to work longer hours when occasionally required
- A panel beater looking to move into motorsport and shell restoration
- Past experience in working within an automotive body shop using jig equipment
- Candidates must have some experience in car restoration and metal fabrication
- Be fully competent in the use of MIG welding techniques
- Be able to panel fit full body shells and ensure correct panel alignment
- Be able to communicate effectively and resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Excellent communication, organisation and inter‑personal skills
- Full driving licence
