About Tussell: Tussell is the trusted source of insight into UK government contracts, a market worth £260Bn in 2024. Our market intelligence software helps companies to win more public contracts by making better commercial decisions. Our data is so reliable that even the government relies on it to track its own procurement.
For a small company, we get a lot of media coverage. Since 2018 our data has been mentioned in the press over 1,800 times, underlining both the media interest in taxpayer-funded government contracts and our established position as the market's reference data source. We strive to be a great business, but what we do also has a wider impact: the enhanced transparency that Tussell fosters helps to make public procurement more efficient and competitive, which ultimately improves value for money in public services.
Tussell has an entrepreneurial culture and is focused on growing sustainably through customer sales, not by raising successive rounds of VC funding. The team is founder-led and consists of 37 employees with an average age of 29, so it’s a dynamic environment where you will know everybody's name. Collaboration and teamwork are essential. We have a consistent track record of hiring energetic people early in their careers, developing home-grown talent and rewarding success.
As a Data Researcher at Tussell, you will play a pivotal role in generating market-leading insights on UK public procurement to generate sales of our software and upsell to suppliers in the public sector.
