In partnership with the Get Into Teaching service, the Co‑op Academies Trust offers an exciting opportunity for undergraduates to gain classroom experience, mentoring, and insight into teaching and career progression. Paid teaching internships are DfE funded and lead to priority access to ITT recruitment.

Duration: 3 weeks | Full Time | 22nd June – 10th July 2026
Location: Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, Merseyside & Stoke
Applicants must be able to commit to and attend each day of the internship.
You must not be a first‑year student.
You must have the right to work in the UK. (International students – check visa status – many permit working 20 hours per week during term time and full‑time during holidays.)
You must be studying for a related undergraduate or master’s degree and be interested in teaching one of the following subjects:
- Chemistry
- Computing
- Design and Technology
- Languages
- Maths
- Physics
Applicants must have a degree in the subject they are applying to teach, or a closely related degree alongside a strong Level 3 qualification. If a trainee needs to improve their subject knowledge, they may be asked to complete a subject‑knowledge enhancement (SKE) course.
