Would you like a career in media? An amazing opportunity exists to join a dynamic publishing and events group offering a media graduate scheme in London from September 2025. Mark Allen, one of the UK’s leading independent media companies, is seeking to appoint graduates for its annual media graduate scheme from September 2025. This presents an exciting and unique opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic, very fast-growing and developing publishing and events business, joining a team of highly motivated and talented people, based at our London offices.

The group offers challenging and rewarding careers for young and enthusiastic people. The placement will offer you experience in either editorial, marketing or events. Working within our business areas in healthcare, education, music, business to business, agriculture and engineering, you will be presented with an excellent insight into media publishing.

A placement with the editorial, marketing or event teams will allow you to develop your skills in either sub-editing or writing content for the journals and magazines, both in print and online. An experience in the marketing or events divisions will offer you the opportunity to research and implement marketing campaigns and experience the broad range of event organisation.

Most importantly, we will work together with you in your learning and development programme, during which you will gain relevant knowledge, editorial, marketing and events skills, which you will be able to put to use in your forthcoming career. You will have the opportunity to join the magazine journalism high Level 4 training course organised by the National Council for the Training of Journalists during your first year. The graduate scheme is for one year and is paid. Upon successful completion of your placement, this will lead to a potential full-time and permanent employment position within the group.
