We are looking for a motivated, organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the operational delivery, growth and continuous improvement of the scheme. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in operations, project coordination, partnership development, digital systems, marketing and social enterprise growth through a varied and hands‑on role. We welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to learn, including graduates, placement students, career changers and those at the beginning of their career in these areas.

The successful candidate will work across multiple areas of the scheme including distributor support, venue engagement, ordering and invoicing coordination, website improvements, operational systems, communications and service development. The role will work closely with the Programme Manager alongside Finance, Marketing, Data and Systems teams to help ensure the scheme operates smoothly, consistently and continues to grow nationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day‑to‑day operational coordination of the MAX Card scheme.
  • Assist with distributor onboarding, communication and relationship management.
  • Coordinate card ordering and distribution processes.
  • Work closely with the Finance Team to support invoicing and order processing.
  • Assist with tracking card orders, stock levels and distributor allocations.
  • Support the recruitment of new venues, attractions and business offers.
  • Build positive relationships with venues, distributors and external partners.
  • Work alongside Data and Systems teams to support smooth operation of the scheme.
  • Assist with website updates, forms and digital improvements.
  • Support social media activity and marketing campaigns.
  • Create engaging content for distributors, venues and families.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers and spreadsheets.
  • Support quality assurance and operational consistency.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the scheme.

Hours of Work

37 hrs (actual hours worked: 30 hrs – We operate a Smart Working Week across four days and receive 100% of FTE pay).

Requirements
  • We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, highly organised, approachable and motivated to learn.
  • The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively, confident communicating with a range of people and passionate about improving opportunities and experiences for families.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and digital systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Good interpersonal skills and confidence speaking with external organisations.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused and willing to learn.
Desirable
  • Experience using Google Forms, Canva, CRM systems or website platforms.
  • Understanding of social media and digital marketing.
  • Experience in administration, customer service, events or project support.
  • Basic understanding of invoicing, ordering or operational administration.
  • Knowledge or understanding of SEND, disability inclusion or community services.
