The role will involve managing a team of accountants that are responsible for the delivery of services to a portfolio of clients. Tasks will include:
- Planning workload (self-assessment tax returns, year-end company accounts and corporation tax returns)
- Liaising with clients and answering technical queries
- Reviewing work and providing an all-round service going above and beyond for clients
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure accounting team meets monthly KPIs (bank reconciliations, VAT & payroll)
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
- Providing personal & corporate tax advice
- Preparation of annual accounts
- Dealing with HMRC in regards to queries and correspondence
- Customer service - answering telephone calls and emails and dealing with queries and complaints
- Promote quality of service delivered to clients for retention and growth
- Report to managers & senior managers on personal and team performance

- Confident with cloud systems (Xero, FreeAgent, QuickBooks)
