Turtle Tots Lancashire and Cumbria is looking for 1 or 2 Swimming Teachers to join our team in Lancaster and Barrow. Due to the business expanding we are in need of a teacher to cover our classes at Loyne School in Lancaster on Sundays and Everlast Fitness in Barrow on Saturdays. The hours are 9 – 1 on both days and are term time only. Full Training will be provided. A full driving licience and access to a car is preferable in order to cover other venues and attend tarining, however is not essential.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be available to fill in at our other locations, if needed.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with parents and children.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Have basic knowledge of swimming strokes, lengths, and techniques.
- Have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Have the ability to work with students of all ages.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching parent and child swimming lessons in the pool.
- Demonstrating how to teach swim techniques in the pool.
- Helping children with their confidence, water safety and swimming techniques.
