As Junior Industrial Designer to support our Product Design team, you will play an instrumental role as we develop gaming hardware across the Turtle Beach categories, including controllers, PC Peripherals, simulation hardware, accessories and emerging product areas. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who already has 1–2 years of industry experience (including placements or junior roles) and wants to build strong foundations working on real, mass produced products, not just concepts. You’ll work closely with experienced designers, gaining hands on exposure across the full product development cycle while contributing meaningfully to live projects. This role supports hybrid working, combining remote work with time in the Langstone office for collaboration and prototyping. This is a 6 month - Temporary position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting designers across multiple projects and development stages
- Updating and maintaining CAD models, design specifications and 2D graphics
- Assisting with prototype builds, mock‑ups and print preparation
- Helping organise and support user research, focus groups and usability testing
- Documenting design decisions, processes and learnings
- Supporting internal presentations, reviews and design documentation
- Learning how products move from concept to production at scale
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design or a related discipline
Experience / Skills
- 1+ years of relevant experience (industry role, placement or internship)
- Basic working knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
- Confidence using Adobe suite (other Creative Cloud tools a plus)
- A practical interest in prototyping and iterative design
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
