Job Overview We are hiring for Senior Test Engineer to plan, coordinate and execute project specific test programs.

Key Responsibilities In this role the Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for the following:· Taking a lead role in planning, coordination and execution of project specific test programs to international and or customer specific standards.· Reporting and updating progress, risk and issues to the project team both during regular project meetings and as needed by both written and verbal communication· Product (software, hardware and mechanics) assembly, troubleshooting and testing.

  • Assisting development engineers with analysis of products, including FMEAs, design reviews, etc.
  • Supervision and guidance of technicians, and other more junior engineers The Requirements We're looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:· Understanding of instrumentation and data acquisition systems, including sensors, signal measurement, sampling concepts, and test setups.· Knowledge of core electrical engineering principles, including voltage, current, resistance, power, and basic circuit behaviour.· Fault finding of both product and Test systems.

Bonus Points It would also be great (but not essential) if in addition to the above you also had:· Experience with Lab VIEW development.· Experience of Environmental testing· Experience of EMC testing· Experience of NVH testing· Experience of testing of systems up to 1Kv· Experience of working to automotive testing standards such as ISO 16750.
