The Company

Turnstyle Designs is a brand leader in the Decorative Architectural Hardware sector, founded in 1992 and firmly established in key regions across the globe. Working within the luxury interiors sector we design and manufacture some of the world’s most innovative and aspiring architectural hardware for the Prime Residential, Luxury Hospitality, Super Yacht and High-end Furniture markets. Social Responsibility is at the forefront of our brand and runs through everything we do, and everyone involved with the business. Working within an ethical framework is a key part of the role and should be a major driver for anyone applying for the position. We recently achieved B Corp certification, making us the first hardware manufacturing company in the world to do so.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Brand Ambassador to join our team. This role will primarily focus on engaging with the Architect and Design community in London and the Southeast region, whilst also encompassing opportunities throughout the United Kingdom and occasionally overseas. Our showroom at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour will be used as a satellite office with an expectation of regular time spent here each week (frequency to be determined).

  • Conducting professional client meetings and delivering compelling brand presentations
  • Driving interest in our products and securing project specifications and sales growth through targeted engagement strategies

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to business development, and a proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships within the design industry. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager you will work as part of an established sales and customer service team. Outside of the primary field sales elements of the role, office-based time will include planning and follow-up tasks related to your planned sales trips as well as general sales and customer service support. Full product and process training will be provided, enabling you to build your sales skills and technical knowledge of our product range as you work with our experienced and enthusiastic team.

The role will involve building rapport and developing relationships with prospective and existing customers via networking, telephone calls, other virtual communication services, email and, most importantly, face-to-face presentations to introduce and present the full range of products and services offered, converting these leads into sales opportunities. From time to time, you will be required to support staff at trade shows and events as well as attending networking events. Experience within the luxury interiors sector and an understanding of the specification process is essential. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a confident, focused demeanor are essential attributes for the role.

  • Be an excellent time manager, controlling your own calendar and client meeting schedule
  • Have a practical/technical interest in our range of products and market
  • Have a strong industry knowledge with a wider interest in the architectural and interiors landscape
  • Hold a valid UK Driving Licence and Passport
